We are at war. The Word tells us more than once that we are in a fight. We are told who we are fighting against. We are even given armor to wear in this fight, so that we can stand against the attacks of the enemy. If you boil it all the way down, then there are two groups of people who participate in war. Those fighting the war, and those supporting those who are fighting the war. Soldiers carry pictures from home, letters from home, look forward to care packages, and phone calls. 

The support of parents, spouses, children, and friends are what drives soldiers to fight, and survive. Mission: Identity spends every day at the frontlines of war. Every discipleship meeting or event, every marriage or family crisis situation, is had in the trenches of this war we live in. We are able to fight when others are not. We fight for others when they are not able. We need the support of those who are not in the trenches, so we can stay in the trenches with those who need to be rescued. 

There are many positions in an army. In the Kingdom, those positions are actually expressions of the function of the body of Christ. Every part of the body has a different function, but it all works together for the same purpose. Prayer intercessors are like snipers, fighting from a distance. Outreach, evangelism, and discipleship is the infantry. Fighting on the front lines. Those who support the infantry's ability to fight are as much of the body as any other part! The earth needs you!

The earth doesn't need another building... It needs sons and daughters... it's time to invest in the rescue, healing, training, and sending out of an army of sons and daughters!
